Just a kid, Interrupted.

Kayson's Center for troubled youth is set in modern day America in Maine. Kayson's helps anyone and everyone who needs it. From eating and mental disorders to drug addictions, people come from all over the world for Kayson's Grade A treatment. There's never been a complaint, the orderlies are respectful of the patients, the therapists do their best to help and everyone's safety is carefully guarded with classes that the teens can take that peak their interest. Within the walls of Kayson's, it's much like the outside world. These kids are troubled, and most have simply been dropped off without hearing from their families again. Kayson's is their home. This is where they feel they belong although some of the kids don't appreciate being sent off to an unknown place because of a 'problem' they feel is nonexsistant.

Danielle Kingly || 16 || Bulimia Nervosa || FC : Holland Roden
Danielle was sent to Kayson’s after she had a heart attack at one of her cheer leading competitions. Danielle’s mother was hard on her as a child, always forcing her to join sports and clubs, trying to make her into the perfect girl; and when she would do something wrong, her mother would punish her for it. No food for a week was the normal punishment, or being locked in her closet. Danielle suffers from Bulimia, she’ll eat but then she’ll throw it all back up. She also has a problem with being in small closed spaces, like an elevator and her room. She sleeps with her door open at night, and spends must of her days in the TV room. She’s normally very happy and friendly to everyone, but when she’s in a bad mood, she’s rude and even violent.
